A Mississippi man has been sentenced to receives a one-year in jail in a Dunn County sexual assault case.
Jesse Fortenberry pleaded guilty to a weapons charge, resulting in the reduction of the sexual assault charge to a misdemeanor by prosecutors.
His admission to shooting bullets into two downtown Menomonie cars last summer led to his conviction.
