The jury will resume deliberations today in the trial concerning the Apple River stabbing incident.
Closing arguments were presented yesterday in the trial of Nicolae Miu.
Prosecutors asserted Miu’s role as the aggressor in the 2022 river altercation, where he allegedly stabbed a group of teenagers, resulting in one fatality.
Conversely, Miu’s defense contended the incident was an act of self-defense, supporting their claim with a video showing the teenagers harassing and subsequently attacking Miu.
The jury began deliberations yesterday afternoon but requested additional time to reach a verdict.
