A former school bus driver in Waukesha County has been sentenced to a maximum of nine years in prison for sexually assaulting a girl with special needs who was a passenger on his bus.
Michael Meyer, the defendant, pleaded guilty to child enticement and child sexual exploitation charges.
Prosecutors dropped four additional charges as part of a plea agreement.
The case dates back to 2021, and prosecutors revealed that Meyer confessed his crimes to the victim’s family.
The victim later bravely came forward to ensure that Meyer wouldn’t harm other girls.
