There is only one meeting on tap for today (April 9th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Police and Fire Commission will be in the Public Safety Building at 4:30 p.m., where the public will be given time to comment.
Then, after getting their usual monthly reports, the group will discuss a request to hire former employee Amber Thiel as a patrol officer.
Police Chief Nick Reimer voiced his support of Thiel, saying he is “confident Amber Thiel will continue to uphold the standards of excellence we strive for within our team.”
