2023 Congressional Art Contest Winner for District 6 - "Forward" by Sam Baeten
Manitowoc County’s Congressman is reminding residents about this year’s Congressional Art Competition.
Glenn Grothman of Glenbeulah says it’s an opportunity to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation as well as in Wisconsin’s 6th Congressional District.
The Artistic Discovery Competition is open to all high school students residing in his district, and the overall winner’s art will be displayed at the US Capitol.
In the contest, artworks entered may include paintings, drawings, prints, computer-generated art, and photographs
All entries must be original in concept, design, and execution. Artists must fill out a student information release form before they turn in their artwork.
All entries must be delivered or mailed to Grothman’s Fond du Lac district office by Monday, April 15th.
