The University of Wisconsin system, spearheaded by regents, greenlights a nearly 3.75% tuition hike, raising tuition at UW-Eau Claire to approximately $10,000 annually.
This decision accompanies the approval of new fees across half of the state campuses.
The tuition hike, deemed necessary by UW President Jay Rothman to combat inflation, will elevate UW-Madison’s tuition to nearly $12,000 per year.
This increase follows a prior 5% tuition raise at the commencement of the current academic year.
