A man has been arrested after two violent incidents at a Manitowoc home.
Manitowoc Police were called to the home of a person reporting two incidents that happened last Friday involving the man.
Around noon, a woman claimed the man came home from work, grabbed someone by their hands, and dragged them to a bedroom because he wanted to have sex.
The victim didn’t want to and tried to fight off the suspect and eventually was able to get the man off of her.
While the man was trying to get on top of her, he was repeatedly saying, “I can have it when I want it; it’s mine.”
He apologized and went back to work.
The man came back later that evening, saw food from a food truck, and became upset.
The woman says he’s “insecure” and “jealous” because she shouldn’t be outside without him.
She started watching a video on YouTube, but then the man suddenly struck her, and it caused ringing in her ears.
The suspect then pushed the woman into a TV, and the woman started crying.
The suspect then let her go and left.
After taking the reports, police went to the suspect’s house, and he decided to invoke his right not to speak.
The man has been charged with 3rd-degree sexual assault, strangulation and suffocation, battery, and disorderly conduct.
