Elijah Vue has been missing for nearly seven weeks, and very little is known about what happened.
People have been speculating online and around the water cooler about what may have happened, but the Two Rivers Police Department has not issued any details about the timeline of events between 8:00 and 11:00 a.m. the morning of February 20th.
What we do know is that Jesse Vang was the last person to have reported seeing him at his home on Mishicot Road.
Vang claims to have brought Vue into his bedroom at 8:00 a.m. before taking a nap until 11:00.
That is when he called the police to report Elijah’s disappearance. Since then, sprawling search efforts have been conducted in Two Rivers, Manitowoc, Green Bay, and Wisconsin Dells, where his mother, Katrina Baur, officially lives.
Police reports indicate that Baur brought Elijah to her boyfriend, Vang’s, home for “disciplinary purposes.”
Both have been charged with Child Neglect, with Vang due for his initial appearance this Thursday at 8:30 a.m.
