A man already convicted in one homicide is claiming innocence in another.
24-year-old Caleb Anderson entered a not-guilty plea in the killing of 65-year-old Patrick Ernst in Green Bay.
Anderson, a Michigan native, is already serving a life sentence for a homicide in Alabama, and he is accused of assaulting a woman in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
WBAY TV reports that the attack happened on August 1st, 2022, after which Anderson drove to Green Bay and killed Ernst in his west side apartment.
It is believed that Anderson used a dating app to find Ernst because he “wanted to find somebody to kill.”
He then drove to Alabama, where he killed 50-year-old Dwight Dixon, a crime he has already been convicted of and is serving a life sentence.
Anderson has been extradited to Brown County for this case and is being held on a $2 million cash bond.
