An Eastern Wisconsin Assemblyman’s bill aimed at helping those with disabilities has been signed into law.
Representative Paul Tittl tells Seehafer News that, during his bill signing spree last week, Governor Tony Evers approved a bill that allows “therapists to make certifications for acquiring disabled parking plates and cards.”
Tittl called the passage of the bull a “win for Wisconsinites with disabilities” as the law removes a lot of red tape for those who need the special license plates and cards.
Tittl said that this measure allows patients to apply for disabled tags without having to go to another doctor for approval and noted that “Physical therapists have the training to be able to make these kinds of determinations.”
