Charges have been brought against a substitute teacher from Altoona for engaging in a sexually explicit conversation within the classroom.
Prosecutors in Eau Claire allege that substitute teacher James Worley shared inappropriate anecdotes with students, including details of drug use and discussions about sexual activities.
Worley now faces four felony charges related to exposing minors to harmful material.
Witnesses stated that although the conversation was directed at a few students, it was audible to the entire class.
Worley purportedly claimed that the dialogue was merely “guy humor” shared with certain students.
