A Cornell firefighter was hospitalized earlier this week following a fire incident that escalated from a grass fire to a house fire.
Emergency responders stated that the firefighter, whose identity remains undisclosed, experienced a medical emergency while battling the blaze in Arthur on Wednesday night.
Initially dispatched for a grass fire, the situation escalated into a structural fire.
There have been no reports of injuries directly caused by the fire.
