A Manitowoc man was arrested Wednesday (March 13th) after he was caught dancing in the middle of a busy street.
Officers responded to the Manitowoc Public Library just after 2:30 p.m. on a report of a man making patrons uncomfortable.
The suspect was seen by the responding officers dancing in the 8th Street crosswalk at the intersection with Franklin Street, holding up a line of cars.
The 33-year-old man was detained as the officers went to speak with Library staff.
They informed police that the man was talking with people even after they asked him to stop and continually asked people to read to him.
When asked to leave, the man reportedly went outside, took off his shirt, and began dancing and waving at passing cars.
The man was taken to the Manitowoc County Jail on charges of Trespassing Upon a Building or Premises, Disorderly Conduct, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
