
A Seymour man is facing attempted charges after a violent incident last Wednesday in the city.
According to Seymour Police Chief Issac Schlutz, police were called to the 100 block of South Main Street for a disturbance and found 34-year-old Jeffrey Proski leaving.
After he was detained, police found another person who had suffered serious injuries from the disturbance and was taken to a local hospital.
Proski was eventually taken to the Outagamie County Jail and has been charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide, aggravated battery with intended great bodily harm, strangulation and suffocation, false imprisonment, and throwing or discharging a bodily fluid at a public safety worker.
Police aren’t releasing any more information at this point.
