Two northeastern Wisconsin students have been picked as winners of a Wisconsin Business World contest.
The twice-annual contest asks students to innovate a new product for the Kwik Trip convenience store, create a marketing plan, and present the idea in the format of their choice.
10th grader Elliott Haenggi of De Pere High School and Liam Kempainen, a senior at Green Bay Preble High School, were chosen along with a freshman from Milton High School in southern Wisconsin.
This year’s winning entries included products like Boba Blast, a juice machine, and a Kwik Trip cookbook.
Each entry included a presentation on the product and marketing strategy identifying a target audience. The winners each received a $500 cash prize.
