Recent rainfall has been beneficial for the current fire conditions throughout Wisconsin.
According to the latest fire danger map released by the Department of Natural Resources, most of the central part of the state poses a low level of danger.
This is a significant contrast from last week when almost the entire state was under a wildfire warning.
The DNR claims that the southern areas of Wisconsin, including the Madison and Milwaukee metropolitan regions, are still at a high risk of fire.
However, due to the recent heavy rains, this may change soon.
