There are a pair of meetings on tap for today (March 5th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Room Tax Commission is up first, as they will be meeting in the Council Chambers at 4:30 p.m.
They will review several applications received for a Discover Manitowoc Grant before reviewing the 2024 budget.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., the Finance Committee will take over the Chambers.
They will discuss a request from the City’s Rec Department to create a recreation fundraising and sponsorship program before getting an update on the Maritime Bluff restoration project.
They will also look to discuss a request for a Library Department credit card for the Library Material Manager while also deciding if an interactive digital kiosk should be purchased.
They’ll finish in a closed session to discuss two two-year operator license applications.
