A second weekend has passed, and no new information about missing 3-year-old Elijah Vue has been released.
Police Chief Ben Meinnert has been giving regular updates on the Two Rivers Police Department Facebook page, where he reported that as of 3:30 Sunday afternoon, Elijah remains missing.
He did note that areas of Shoto and Cato were both searched extensively over the weekend, as was the West Twin River.
Also, over the weekend, the DNR aided in the search by checking the Lake Michigan Shoreline, as well as the Two Rivers harbor and West Twin River, with the assistance of the Manitowoc County Dive Team.
All possible tools continue to be used, as K9s and drones were once again utilized.
Chief Meinnert asked that those who are searching, including those who have traveled long distances, be considerate of others’ private property.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $15,000 for any usable information in the case, while Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000.
Anyone with information regarding Elijah’s disappearance is asked to call the state tips line at 844-267-6648 or submit it on the P3 Tips app.
