School leaders in Middleton are ensuring the public that no critical information was stolen in this week’s cyber-security incident.
The school district explained that an investigation determined that no ‘sensitive information was accessed or misused.’
No one is saying just what happened, and no one is calling the incident a hack.
Instead, the school district says it was a cyber-security event that froze Middleton Schools’ computer network, and even stopped them from locking the door.
No one has said who is responsible, though an investigation is on-going.
