Efforts to combat human trafficking in Wisconsin are advancing as the Senate committee prepares to vote on proposals from The Speaker’s Task Force on Human Trafficking.
These initiatives aim to enhance awareness and detection of human trafficking through increased training for various professionals, including teachers and hotel workers.
Additionally, plans are underway to establish a new Human Trafficking Council for Wisconsin, following approval from the State Assembly.
