Authorities in Dodge County have determined that the recent tragic deaths in Columbus and Elba constitute a murder-suicide case.
According to the sheriff’s office, 85-year-old David Zittel took his own life in a Columbus urgent care waiting room after fatally shooting his wife, Susan, at their residence in Elba.
Investigators assert that no other individuals were involved in these events, though they have refrained from speculating on a motive.
