A home in Chilton caught fire leading to a resident suffering severe burns.
According to the Chilton Fire Department, fire teams arrived at the home at N4463 County Road BB in the Town of Chilton sometime around noon Tuesday (February 20th) and quickly attacked the blaze.
They found a man had suffered from severe burns, so an ambulance took him to the Regional Trauma Center.
He was then flown to UW Madison Burn Center where his condition has not been revealed.
The Chilton Fire Department was assisted on the scene by eleven other local and area fire departments, as well as the Calumet County Sheriff’s Department, Ascension Calumet Ambulance, and the Chilton First Responders.
