Sheboygan County law enforcement has filed an arrest warrant for a Plymouth man who is believed to have fled the scene of a fatal OWI.
According to WHBL, 39-year-old Joseph Timrek is alleged to be the man who was behind the wheel of a vehicle that struck another vehicle on January 14th in Elm Grove.
Timrek and a passenger in his vehicle allegedly fled the scene and were later found by police at a gas station.
Timrek was said to be visibly intoxicated, and police monitored a call he made where he admitted that he fled the scene because he knew he would fail a sobriety test.
Timrek, who already has three OWI convictions on his record, was due for a court appearance last week but failed to show up, leading to an arrest warrant being filed against him.
