Wisconsin lawmakers are poised to revisit the issue of political maps in the upcoming session.
With both the State Assembly and State Senate convening, there’s speculation surrounding a potential vote on Governor Tony Evers’ proposed maps.
Last month, Republican leaders approved modified versions of the governor’s maps, which were subsequently vetoed by Governor Evers due to alterations.
In an attempt to preempt potentially unfavorable outcomes from the state supreme court, Republicans are contemplating a vote on the governor’s maps in their original form.
