
The Sheboygan Fire Department responded to a garage fire over the weekend.
According to a report from Battalion Chief Jamon Ingelse, crews were dispatched to the 3300 block of Main Avenue at around 5:15 a.m. on Saturday (February 10th).
Fire crews arrived on the scene to find a garage completely engulfed in flames that were beginning to spread to the home from which it was detached.
One set of firefighters began dousing the back of the home with water to stop the spread while others battled the main inferno.
The Fire Department remained on the scene until around 7:30 to clear the incident of any hot spots and to conduct overhaul operations.
No injuries were reported, and the cause has not yet been determined.
The incident caused an estimated $35,000 in damage.
