The 19-year-old man who was charged for his role in a hit-and-run crash on New Year’s Eve in Fond du Lac County has been bound over for trial.
According to a report on NBC26 in Green Bay, Jatziel Encarnacion was before a judge last Friday when he learned that probable cause was found in the case, and it will be sent to trial.
Encarnacion is facing a single count of Hit-And-Run Causing Great Bodily Harm after he hit two people who were ejected in an accident in front of him and fled the scene.
Encarnacion and the people in the other car involved in the crash were at a party in Kewaskum on New Year’s Eve prior to the crash.
A 19-year-old woman was dragged by Encarnacion’s car for an estimated three and a half miles, which is where investigators found her body.
