More details have come out regarding the case of the woman charged in the death of her two-year-old infant.
According to a report on WBAY-TV, Brooke Seal was in court Friday on a charge of Neglecting a Child Causing Death.
However, more charges are likely on the way as the investigation continues.
During that appearance, District Attorney Melinda Tempelis told the court that Seal had been allowing a man to live with her, whom investigators believe to be a drug dealer.
It was noted that the two spoke about getting fentanyl prior to the child being found dead of an apparent fentanyl overdose and that other drugs were found in the home.
Text messages were also found showing that Seal had been actively trying to buy fentanyl within nine hours of the baby dying.
Seal remains in the Outagamie County Jail on a $500,000 cash bond and is next due in court on February 13th.
