The Kiel boys basketball team’s bid for a perfect season remains alive following their 69-67 win over a visiting Waupun squad last night.
The Raiders pulled out to a 35-23 lead at the break, but the Warriors charged back in the second, netting 44 points in the comeback attempt, but it just wasn’t enough as Kiel improved to a perfect 19-0.
Pierce Arenz led the home squad with 20 points, while Grant Manz had 16, Jack Heckmann added 14, and Aiden Murphy tallied 13.
With five games left on the calendar for the regular season, the Raiders will look to make it 20 wins in a row when they travel to Kewaskum tonight.
