President Biden will face competition on the Wisconsin primary ballot in April.
The Wisconsin Supreme Court, in a unanimous decision on Friday, ordered the inclusion of Minnesota Congressman Dean Phillips in the primary.
Despite Phillips expressing his desire to be nominated alongside President Biden, Democrats in Wisconsin had initially nominated only the incumbent.
The court ruled in favor of Phillips, criticizing the party’s decision as an erroneous exercise of discretion.
Wisconsin voters will have their say on April 2nd.
