The Roncalli Jets were unable to take down the Brillion at the Hanger last night (February 1st) in girls’ basketball, falling to the Lions 76-69.
The Jets led at the half 36-29, but the Lions were able to come alive in the second half and tie the game at 61 a piece before grabbing the lead for good by going on a 15-8 run.
For the Lions, two girls finished in double figures, including freshman Emma Schuh, who scored a career-high 27 points, while Amaya Brooks chipped in 23.
Roncalli had five girls in double figures, including 19 points for Grace Pribyl, 11 for Bella Jacky and Emmie Risch, and 10 points for Amber Fiecko and Lauren Stangel, who also had a double-double by getting 10 assists.
The Jets are now 4-7 in the EWC and 6-13 on the year, while Brillion improves to 3-7 in the EWC and 6-12 on the season.
Roncalli will welcome Sheboygan Christian to the Hanger tomorrow evening.
Brillion has another game tonight, facing the Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers at Lancers Circle.
