The verdict has come back on the former Green Bay Police officer who threw a woman into a fire pit.
According to WBAY TV, Shane Nolan has been found guilty on charges of Substantial Battery and Disorderly Conduct, however, the hate crime enhancers have been dismissed.
They were tacked onto the charges due to the fact that he had called the victim a homophobic slur before picking her up and throwing her in the fire during a 4th of July Party in 2021.
The woman was able to get out of the flames and confront Nolan, but he proceeded to choke her before the fight was broken up.
Nolan is due back in court on June 7th for sentencing.
