
An Oshkosh woman is facing charges after she allegedly threatened to blow up a church.
According to a report by WBAY TV in Green Bay, Police were called to a church in the 1100 block of Algoma Boulevard at around 6:45 Monday evening (January 29th) after the church leader got a call from a woman who said she was going to blow up the church.
The identity of the church was not specified, but there is a Jewish Synagogue and a Methodist Church in that area.
Police evacuated the building and neighboring homes before searching the church.
The threat was deemed non-credible.
The unidentified 65-year-old woman was then detained and is expected to be charged with Causing a Bomb Scare.
