Three local boys swim teams competed in a 19-school invite over the weekend.
The Kiel/Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah squad finished with the best score, coming in 8th, while the Brillion/Valders/Chilton squad came in 9th, and the Two Rivers/Roncalli team finished 11th.
Danny Boyer was a part of four top 10 finishes for the KELG team, finishing 4th in the 50 freestyle, 6th in the 100 freestyle, 8th in the 400 freestyle relay, alongside Aaron Fenderwisch, Sam Keuler, and Mason Fintelmann, and 9th in the 200 medley relay, along with Fenderwisch, Keuler, and Daniel Madson.
Bryce Hedtke led the way for Brillion/Valders/Chilton, as he finished 10th in the 200 individual medley and 7th in the 400 freestyle relay with teammates Gavin Buechel, Kevin Halverson, and Adam Brunnell.
Evan Harrison and Phillip Malo each had a great night for Two Rivers/Roncalli.
Harrison finished 2nd in the 500 freestyle and 5th in the 200 freestyle, while Malo came in 4th in the 100 breaststroke and 8th in the 100 freestyle.
They both were also a part of the 9th place 200 freestyle relay team, also comprised of Andrew Hawki and Dominick Springstube.
All three schools will be at Kiel High School this Saturday as the Raiders host the conference championships.
