Make it six wins in a row and ten on the season for the Manitowoc Lincoln girls basketball team.
The Ships dominated Sheboygan South last night 71-47 at the home of the Redwings.
Lincoln pulled out to a 45-25 lead at the break and cruised to the 24-point win.
Laurin Hamann had a phenomenal night, scoring 15 of her game-high 22 points in the first half while going 6 for eight from the free throw line.
Kendall Schmitz meanwhile added 13 points, including nine three-pointers, and Grace Fruzen went 3 for 4 from the charity stripe en route to an 11-point night.
Not only did the win improve the Ships record to 10-7, it also marks the best record for the program since the 2012-2013 season.
The Ships are back in action tonight, where they will put their win streak on the line at De Pere High School, where the Redbirds are 13-5.
It won’t get any easier next week, as Lincoln will take on Notre Dame, who is 15-1, on Tuesday at the JFK Fieldhouse.
