A routine traffic stop turned into an arrest for drug possession in Manitowoc early yesterday morning. Police pulled over Chaz Frisch in the 3000 block of Custer Street at around 1:00 AM for a cracked tail light. Frisch asked to see the tail light, and the officer allowed him out of the vehicle to view it. It was at that time the officer reported seeing Frisch act nervous. A consented search of the vehicle uncovered a safe in the back seat, which contained several items of drug paraphernalia, including a scale, a bag containing a green leafy substance, and several zip lock bags. Frisch was arrested on charges of Felony Bail Jumping, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
