The man charged in the Christmas Eve shooting of Elijah D. Dodson has been bound over for trial.
Elliot Campbell is facing a charge of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide after he allegedly shot Dodson during a scuffle that stemmed from an argument about someone cutting in line at a food truck.
Being “bound over for trial” essentially means that the judge in the case has found probable cause to continue the case and take it into the next phase of the judicial process.
In Campbell’s case, he will be back in court on February 8th for an arraignment hearing, which is the first appearance of a suspect in the criminal trial process.
He currently is still in the Outagamie County Jail on a $1 million cash bond.
