Dick’s Sporting Goods Stores No Longer Selling AR-15 Rifles

The Dick’s Sporting Goods chain of stores has announced it is halting sales of assault-style rifles and high-capacity magazines immediately.  The company also says a gun buyer will need to be 21 and older to make a purchase.  Chairman and C-E-O Ed Stack says his company felt it needed to do something after seeing what the students at a Parkland high school were going through in Florida.  A troubled teenager shot 17 students and educators to death two weeks ago.  Dick’s has stores in 14 locations in Wisconsin.
