There are three meetings scheduled for today (January 24th) in the City of Manitowoc.
First up is the Board of Public Works, which will be in the Council Chambers at 4:00 p.m.
They will look over bids for several sewer projects planned for this year, as well as pay estimates for various public works and engineering projects.
Then, at 4:30 p.m., the Room Tax Commission will take over the Chambers.
They will enter a closed session to get an update on the lawsuit with the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau.
Closing out the day will be the Plan Commission, which will also be in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m.
After conducting their annual review of Grow it Forward’s conditional use permit, the group will look over a request from the Lakeshore Human Society to lease or purchase land in Indian Creek Park.
A letter written to City Planner Paul Braun indicates that the Humane Society is looking to build a bigger facility on that plot of land.
These are the final meetings for the week in the City of Manitowoc.
