A family in Fond du Lac is without a home following a fire Tuesday morning (January 23rd).
Crews were sent to the residence in the 300 block of Tompkins Street just before 9:15 a.m. where they found flames and smoke billowing out of the home.
An undisclosed number of residents were still inside when fire teams arrived, but they were all evacuated safely before crews began attacking the flames.
After three hours of fighting, the fire was deemed under control.
The American Red Cross was on the scene, an is now assisting those who were living in the home, which has been deemed uninhabitable.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
