The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources board has approved a land swap that would include handing over a parcel of state park land to help the Kohler Company build a new golf course. The board voted five-to-one to approve the swap. The company wants to build the course next to Kohler-Andrae State Park. The company wants about six-and-a-half acres within the park to accommodate a maintenance facility for the course. Kohler has pledged nine-and-a-half acres to the D-N-R adjacent to the park and upgrade the park entrance.
