
The Manitowoc Lincoln boys swim team hosted a six-school invite Saturday, featuring swimmers from Kiel/Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Brillion/Valders/Chilton, Two Rivers/Roncalli, Janesville Parker, and Port Washington.
The Ships picked up the win, securing 557 points by winning five events, including all three relays.
The team of Micha Stachovak, Connor Paltzer, Ayden Theel, and Porter Fencl won the 200 medley relay, while Paltzer, Fencl, Alexander Hass, and Dress Cress finished first in the 200 freestyle relay.
Theel, Hass, Stachovak, and Cress also won the 400 freestyle relay, while Cress claimed the 100 free, and Fencl topped all swimmers in the 200 individual medley.
Brillion/Valders/Chilton finished 3rd thanks in part to Bryce Hedtke’s win in the 100 backstroke, while Two Rivers/Roncalli ended up in 4th place despite wins in the 50 freestyle by Phillip Malo and Evan Harrison’s top finishes in the 200 and 500 freestyle events.
Kiel/Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah finished in second despite having no event wins.
