UW-Green Bay at Marinette has announced the cessation of in-person classes after the current spring semester.
Chancellor Michael Alexander revealed that all classes will be conducted remotely, citing a paradigm shift to redefine the university’s operations.
The decision comes as several UW campuses, including UW-Green Bay, face budget deficits heading into the spring.
Other campuses, such as UW-Milwaukee at Washington County and UW-Oshkosh Fond du Lac, are also shifting to online classes.
The UW campus in Richland Center closed this year following the discontinuation of in-person classes last year.
