The man who was caught on video attempting to meet a minor for sex has entered a not-guilty plea.
36-year-old Heath Grebe was charged with Attempted 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and Using a Computer to Facilitate a Child Sex Crime.
During a court appearance yesterday (January 18th), Grebe also waived his secondary preliminary hearing.
He was arrested in September after he messaged with the group Bikers Against Predators, thinking they were a 13-year-old girl.
Grebe organized a meet-up with the “girl” at Lincoln Park in Manitowoc but was instead met by members of the group.
A video of the interaction was captured and posted on the Bikers Against Predators Facebook page, where Grebe admits to messing up multiple times, and the contents of the messages were read.
Grebe is due back in court on May 7th for a status conference.
