A barn fire in the Town of Lemonweir, Juneau County, resulted in the destruction of a barn and the death of a calf.
The incident occurred around 4:30 yesterday morning (January 17th), requiring the efforts of Lyndon Station and Mauston crews for about an hour to control the fire.
The other cows on the farm were safely relocated.
