
The Manitowoc Lutheran boys basketball team continued their strong season last night as they hosted Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah.
Damon Ryan had the call on 97.1 FM WCUB and CubRadio.com Tuesday night (January 16th), and he noted that the Lancers used aggressive defense and pinpoint shooting to take down Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 73-44.
Lutheran held a 15-0 lead early in the game at Lancer Circle and cruised to the 29-point win.
Derek Laabs led the Lancers with 24 points, while Noah Lukasek had 15 and Jaymen Ott added 10.
The Resorters were led by Senior Carson Mersberger, who netted 17 points on the night.
The Lancers are now 10-3 overall and 3-2 in the Big East Conference and will be back in action Friday when they host St. Mary Catholic.
The Resorters are now 7-7 overall and 2-4 in league play.
They will next be in action Thursday as they host St. Lawrence Seminary.
