
For the first time this year, and for the first time in over four months, gas prices in Eastern Wisconsin went up.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, Manitowoc County saw an increase of seven cents per gallon when compared to this time last week, now averaging $2.73, ending a 17-week run of declines.
Sheboygan County meanwhile reported a fifteen-cent jump to $2.78, and Calumet County saw an eight-cent bump to $2.74.
Outagamie County motorists are the most affected this week, as a 21-cent increase puts their average at $2.64 per gallon, while Brown County reported a thirteen-cent bump to $2.74.
Kewaunee County is coming in fifteen cents higher than last week with an average of $2.79, while Door County’s average is up 13 cents to $2.76.
The state average followed a similar trend, jumping thirteen cents to $2.75, while the national average remained unchanged at $3.07 per gallon.
