A police chase in Milwaukee concluded with both an officer and the suspect crashing into a creek.
The incident occurred yesterday morning along Teutonia Avenue.
The Milwaukee Police Department reports that an officer was pursuing a suspect in a stolen car, wanted in connection to the abduction of a seven-year-old girl the day before.
The stolen car lost control, sliding down a hill into Lincoln Creek, with the officer’s squad car following suit.
The two 17-year-olds inside the stolen car were hospitalized after the crash, while the officer escaped unharmed.
Milwaukee Police emphasize that the chase could have had a much more tragic outcome.
