
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a major pill bust late last year.
According to the report, a deputy and his K9 stopped a vehicle that had been speeding on December 30th.
The deputy noticed signs of possible drug use in the vehicle, leading them to conduct a search of the car.
In total, 700 pills of ecstasy, 74 unnamed prescription pills, 24 grams of fentanyl, 3 grams of mushrooms, and 2 grams of marijuana were located, leading to three people from Wausau and one from Chicago being arrested.
The 26-year-old male driver was detained for his 6th OWI and Possession of Cocaine and Fentanyl with Intent to Deliver, while he and a 32-year-old man were also charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Designer Drugs and were placed on a probation hold.
Both men, a 22-year-old woman and an 18-year-old woman from Chicago, were charged with Possession of THC, a Non-Narcotic Controlled Substance, and an Hallucinogenic.
