A person lost their life last weekend in Madison after being run over by a rideshare driver.
Witnesses reported the victim running and yelling before lying down in the street near Packers and Schlimgen Avenues.
The rideshare driver initially left the scene but later returned and contacted 911.
The driver’s cooperation with authorities is under scrutiny, and the District Attorney’s Office will determine if criminal charges are warranted.
