
The Manitowoc Police Department has released their numbers from November.
The monthly report shows that they were called slightly more times last month than they were in November of 2022.
A total of 2,654 calls for service were reported, which is up nearly 220 from last year, bringing the year-to-date total up to 29,726.
Also, 143 adult criminal charges were filed in November, which is up from last November’s number of 108.
The juvenile charges are also up, 14 compared to 8. However, both adult and juvenile charges are down in the year-to-date column.
So far this year, 1,866 charges have been filed against adults, 70 fewer than this time last year, and 197 juvenile charges have been filed, down ten from this time last year.
The roads have been safer in Manitowoc as well, with 91 accidents last month compared to 121 last November.
The year-to-date total is also down, 971 as of the end of last month, compared to 1,078 this time last year.
